making inferences

Today i learned how to make an inference. An inference is a guess about what will happen in the future. Making inferences is a good source when reading a book.

What i did today was take notes...

     What i did today was take notes for my test that im going to take after taking all this practice test i had to do first.For i could start my real test for i could pass this class and get my points or earnn them by doing my work and getting good points and a good grade on the test. Finally i finished all the practice test and took all my test with it. There were kind of hard to answer but with the notes they got easyer to answer them.

i can till  the difference between Asexual and Sexual. Asexual is when only one call is required. With sexual 2 parents are reqiured. also bacterium has to deal with asexual and uses of circular DNA and Proteins

language, imagery, symbolism, personification, tone, and implied purpose–in literary works.
I also learn how to interpret and critically analyze the ways in which poets use techniques to evoke
emotion in the reader.
by respondins , and analyzing  the effects of sound, rhythm, and rhyme in literary
works.

Unit 2 Pre Test

i took the pre test. i scored 78% with 43/55 problems correct. the areas i need to work on are Congruent Triangles Part 2, Congruent Triangles Problems, and Proportionality

I can find the main idea in a passage by identifying the topic of the passage and what the main idea is.

To find a main idea in a short passage, there is a formula. Main idea = topic + detail. To find a main idea of a passage you must first read and ask yourself, what is the author trying to communicate with me?, also it helps if you have a good idea of what the title is about. Drawing conclusions can be tricky in figuring out what the main idea of a story or short passage is. Always use your formula and answer with a most detailed answer.

Unit 1 Post Test

today i didnt do so well. i only scored a 60% on my post test. my worst parts were geometric systems, and geometric conjunctures

Today I learn how to build on a strategy for learning words from word lists.
I also learn hos to improve his/her literature vocabulary and place terms in different categories. Last I learn how to build on a strategy for learning words from word lists.

Supplimentary and Complimentary Angles: i can describe relationships among angles by using properties of complimentary, supplimentary, and vertical angles

i finished the tutorial for Supplimentary and Complimentary Angles. i learned that supplimentary angles add up to 180 degrees, and complimentary angles add up to 90 degrees.
i missed one question on my application and scored an 83% with 5/6 questions correct.
i scored 100% on my mastery test

Today i did mapping practice test 7.

What i did was took the mapping practice test 7. Its about maps and roads, and places. That the bus drops you off at. You have to look at the map and check were you are at and find the answer for it.

Two of a Kind: i can describe relationships among angles by using properties of complimentary, supplimentary, and vertical angles

i finished my Two Of A Kind tutorial. i learned that a given point can only be in the interior of one of four angles. i learned how to complete a Statement And Reason table.
i started and finished my application. i scored 6/6 100% on my first try
i took the mastery test for Two Of A Kind and passed 100% on the first try. my goal was to answer 4/5 questions correctly and i scored 5/5

I am able to construct or label general prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells given cell structures.

i can label the difference between both cells. one has a nuclues and the other one doesnt. one is an animal cell and the other is a plant cell.

today i learned how nationalism can lead to wars. the german states were united because of war. so was italy.

I can analyze significant events.

The Holocaust killed 6 million jews before it was over. Not only did Hitler discriminate against jews he didn't like everyone different from him. The Holocaust was a mass killing of jews and other minorities by the Nazi's. It was controlled by Hitler. Who later killed himself at the end of it all.

Today I learn how to  apply a useful strategy for each of three kinds of questions found on
standardized reading tests: sentence completion, analogy, and passage comprehension.
Today I also learn how to recognize various types of visual aids and to synthesize information from the
visual aids with a science text.

today I learned about formatting and spreadsheets.

Today i learned how to print correctly and do much more things that involve formatting and spreadsheets such as, rrenameing inserting editing thing stuff like these. I also learned how to add page numbers to page cells by useing page break. I also learned how to highlight and darked things and add background and color to your page .

What i did today was Mapping Lesson on Types of Maps.

     Today what  i did was learned about Types of Maps. For example include political maps, road maps, weather maps, physical maps, and geologic maps. Political maps show the location of cities, townships, countries, states, countries, and regions of the world.  Road maps show the location of roads in an area. Weather maps show current or predicted weather patterns over an area.  Other maps can show numbers of people, types of rocks and soils, weather, and other information. Mapmaking tools many techniques and tools for making maps have changed in the last hundred years or so. Humans can direct the satellites to gather data from space about aresas of interest on the Earth. the data collected can be changed into maps to show details about the Earth that humans may not be able to see from the ground.

What i learned today was Longitude Meridians.

       What i learned was Longitude Meridians. Lines of longitude run toward the North and South poles and there not parallel. They start at the prime meridian in Greenwich, England. Points to the prime meridian have east longitude that run from 0 to 180 E, and points west to the prime meridian have west longitudes that run from 0 to 180 W. The line on the opposite side of the Earth from the prime meridian is 180. Both Greenland and the country of Brazil in South America are crossed by the 40 W meridian. Longitude is long and runs top to bottom. The ather thing is that minutes and seconds can cover smaller ares. Different places have different time. Like here in Iowa with Califonia or other places to. So not every place have the same time.

i started the tutorial for Two Of A Kind. i learned that vertical angles are formed when two lines intersect. angles on opposite sides are vertical angles. angles side by side are adjacent and form 180 degrees. when angles intersect they have supplimentary angles.

Today i took a practice test 4.

      What i learned today was took a practice test again on mountains. thise practice test5 are review for the real test that i have to take after im done with thise practice ones.

Today I learn how to analyze the text structures such as compare and contrast, cause and effect, and
chronological ordering for how they influence understanding.
I also  learn how to make predictions, draw inferences, and connect prior knowledge to support reading
comprehension.
Last I learn how to draw conclusions and generalizations and support them with text evidence and
experience.

intro to spreadsheets

Today i learned about spread sheets and how to work the some facts about spread sheet is, the most effecent page on wordbook is a buget and speardsheets can do math and keep track of your stuff, this gose throw spreadsheet software, it is good for keeping trak of your money or makeing a schedule things like that. spreadsheet is used alot by bankers and bussesniss people.

i can demonstrate understanding by identifying and giving examples of undefined terms, axioms, theorems, and inductive and deductive reasoning

i started and finished my tutorial on postulates and theorems. i took the application and scored 5 out of 6. i got an 83%. i took the mastery test and scored 100% on my first try.
i learned that a direct proof shows a statement is true because a logical chain of steps support it, and that an indirect proof shows a statement cannot be false, therefore it must be true.
