I can distinguish between examples of explosive and non-explosive reactions from volcanoes.
Volcanoes can have certain types of eruptions. There are explosive, non explosive, and explosive and non explosive. All these types of explosions are dangerous, some more than others. Explosive happens when water vapor gets trapped in the magma chamber and creates high silica. Non explosive happens when there is little to no water vapor in the magam chamber. These different types of explosions let out certain types of lava flow.
I will determine which of Newton’s three laws is illustrated by specific examples.
For example Newton's laws are. When there is a parked car that stays in the same place until someone moves it. That would be his first law. His second law would be as you increase the force applied to a object. Newton's third law would be when a girl hits a volleyball an it goes over to the other person or over the net!
I learned about Plate techonics?
What i learned today was about the plate tectonics. What i learned was that the plates make up the lithospere float on top of the denser athenospere. And that cool magma sinks and hot magma rises.
I can identify changes that resulted from important turning points in world history, such
During the industrial revolution, the economy changed dramatically. It changed everyone being so dependent on the world trade, however it didn't completely remove it. Factory workers had many hours and got paid minimal wages. Women and children were also allowed to be factory workers during that time. Women no longer had to stay at home with the kids they could also contribute.
I can demonstrate proficiency in using language terminology and in applying language concepts: parallelism.
Today I learned how to notice if a sentence has a faulty parallel structure. You can tell this by seeing if when listing things they either all end in -ing or they all don't. If some of the words do and then some don't, that's faulty parallel structure. Also learned that if you are talking about two things in a sentence ex: I talked to the coach and teacher, you should put a "the" in front of teacher so you have correct parallel structure.
I can summarize and list priorities for computer maintenance.
I learned how to back up data so that way if you computer hard drive is messing up you can still have your data on your computer. I also learned what you should do if your computer is messing up, most problems can be fixed by yourself but if it is a major problem such as your computer not turning on you should call for perfessonal help. If you are to use a website make shure it is a trusted web site because it can mess up your computer even more by makeing it slower or giving it bugs. Some ways to keep you computer safe is to have automatic downloads.
Identifying Points on a Coordinate Plane (Courseware/Exempt)
Today i just skipped around a little bit, And i was starting to learn how to solve fractions out to be a decimal. Then you had to multiply that outta what it is by 100%. I learned that there are more than just one way of doing it. I am now working on tha other ways of doing it.

flowing klava
I learned today was forms of flowing lava pillow lava. Pillow lava is a type of flowing lava that cools under water into round ,blob shapes. That was a new thing i learned today i was kind of confuse but when i stared to read more about it i understand it more now its not that confusing,
I can demonstrate proficiency in identifying a run-on sentence and correcting it.
I learned how to recognize a run-on sentence in a paper. Also learned how to go about correcting different kinds of incorrect sentences. Run-on sentences can be made by forgetting one of two things: a period, exclamation point, or question mark. Or forgetting a comma or semicolon.
I can distinguish processes involved in seafloor spreading.
Seafloor spreading happens underwater. It happens when a divergent boundary realeases magma into the sea and makes ridges along the divergent opening. It then expands the seafloor making the older seafloor farther away from the divergent opening and the newer seafloor closer the opening. The older seafloor is then melted back to magma and released through the divergent opening once again. It happens when a seafloor plate and a continential plate collide and create subduction.
Computer Mainenace
I can get rid off unwanted files, I can also move them to better storing places, if you just delet them they will just go to a storing place but today i learned that this can make your computer gop slow, so you have to use a thing called a clean up tool this gets rid off unwanted files for good.

I can predict ways heat can be transferred between two objects.
Boiling water transfers energy to an ice cube by heat. Particles in a object are constantly flowing through the object by thermal energy. Heated air mollecules in a hot air balloon is conducted but convection.
I can distinguish between convergent and divergent movements.
There are two major movements that move tectonic plates that can cause mountains to form, oceans to spread or volcanoes erupt. Convergent and divergent movements create differrent boundries. Convergent boundries can cause a seafloor plate and a continential plate to collide while the seafloor plate moves under the continential plate and creates subduction where the seafloor plate melts and creates magma. Divergent boundries make oceanfloors spread and melt at the same time. These different types of movements can cause vaults, valleys, mountains, and seafloor spreading.
I can explain the causes of industrialization.
The industrialization in England started in 1750 and they wanted to build factories, machines and steam engines. England had to have the large amount of coal and other resources they already had to build these things. Industrialization caused many farmers and other people to join the union and work for the many factories that were built. All the surrounding farmers had moved to the cities and left their farms to go work in these factories.
File Managment
I can save and store files properly in the correct places. I can also move files to other storing areas I no how to do this two diffrent ways. I also learned how to find your files if you cant remember ware you put them.

I can find and interpret features on road and political maps.
In Earth and Space science I learned about different parts on a map that can help you better read them. There are things like labels, scales, key/legend, and compasses. Each of these factors define a map and identify things in it. Labels tell you what type of map its is and also where and how old the map is. Scales help you judge distances by providing some type of measurement to show the distance of land or sea. The key/legend shows what some drawings on a map mean. Such as a blue line is most likely a river. Compasses always point to true north. All these factors help you read a map.
I can describe the structure and functions of roots. roots pull downword into the earth by gravity and has small hair like substences that grabe and atract water, sweet patatos and carrots are actualy roots them selves and all the nutriens in then is the minerals and water that is absorbs the keep the plant alive that you eat.
Adding and Subtracting Mixed Numbers (Courseware/Exempt)
Today i learned how to cross multiply. I Also learned how to make the regularr fractiongs into a mixed number. i learned ho to find the most common deomerater.. you have to find the number that goes into both of them.
I can demonstrate proficiency in choosing a pronoun that agrees with the noun to which it refers: pronouns and antecedents and number and gender
Today I learned about antecedents, pronouns, gender, and number. I learned what each is and when to look for each. I also learned that depending on one another, you may have to change them to plural or singular: I learned when to do this.
I will articulate what I learn from source material and how I might use it on an essay.
today i learned how to revise my paper. i also learned how to see word that need more explaining.
Monday, January 30, 2012
I will draw inferences such as conclusions, generalizations, and predictions and support them with text, evidence, and experience.
Today I learned better ways to make inferences about texts. I learned there are steps/certain questions you can ask yourself that makes understanding the text a lot easier. These questions are: what things can you put together to answer your questions? what do you learn when you put these things together? and does your inference continue to make sense as you continue to read?
I can explore the functions and uses of diffrent types of application software.
I learned how to use diffrent types of appolication software, some of the types are spreadsheet, spreadsheet and presentation, word procesor and presentation, and word procesor and presentation. These things alow you to make diffrent things on your computer.
