Today I learn how to understand the history of sonnets as well as their strict, defining characteristics.
I also learn ho to write Petrarchan or Shakespearean sonnets according to their appropriate guidelines.
I ccompare, contrast, and analyze the themes of multiple sonnets and their poetic
devices.I also learn how to respond to and analyze the effects of the form and dramatic structure of sonnets.
