today i took a pretest to see what i aleady knew so not much to blog about today.

I can replace weak modifers in writting with more interesting modifers

today i learned on how to change one word to another. For example if im writting a story or whatever you write about, if you say i am happy today. You can change that to sound more interesting and less boring. You can put i am delighted today. All of this will make your writting sound more interesting and better to read.

i can match evolution terms to their definition or description.

i learned that internal stimuli include hunger and feeling tired.
external stimuli include temperature and the presence or absence of daylight.
an organism's reaction to any stimuli is called a response. a response can be either innate or learned. innate means you don't have to learn the reaction, it just happens. an example of an innate response would be, when it gets hot, you start to sweat. an example of a learned response would be to turn the air conditioner to a lower temperature. i learned that phototropism is a plant response to light, gravitropism is a plant response to gravity and thigmotropism is a plant response to touch.

I Can Divide Binomials by Monomials (Courseware/Exempt)

Today I learned how to divide binomials and monomials. I also learned that when you are divideing them it goes to where you only have to subtract one off of each exponent.

I can use metocognition to better understand narrative text

today i learend on different strategy that would really help me when i read a story. For example before you read you should set aside a goal. While you read pay close attention to any type of important facts or details of the story. And finally when you are done reading if you didnt meet your goal try to go back and re-read the story again but this time you should write down some important facts so that you wont forget them.

i can distinguish among the placenta, umbilical cord, and amniotic sac based on descriptions of their function or structure.

i learned that there are 3 trimesters of pregnancy.
1-3 is known as the first trimester.
4-6 is known as the second trimester.
7-9 is known as the third trimester.
in the first trimester, the sex of the baby is already determined though
it is not possible to see the genitals. the major organs are already developing
in the first trimester and are fully developed in the second trimester.
the placenta carries the fetus' waste and provides it with oxygen and nutrients.
the amniotic sac cushions and protects the fetus and the umbilical cord connects
the fetus to the placenta. the baby grows most rapidly in the second trimester,
and the head starts turning downward in the third trimester to prepare for birth.

I Can Multiply Monomials (Courseware/Exempt)

Today I learned that when you multiply monomials it will never have the same sign in it that the equation started with having. I also learned that if you are multiplying you can also add or subtract.

I can use a strategy for visualizing images to better understand narritive text

today ilearned on how to visualize while reading a text. First you must read the text then picture a few lil details that it gives you. Then read it over again to make sure you understand right the details they gaved you, if you didnt then you can always go back and change that. It is important to visualiza what your reading i personally thnk it really helps to understand better what your reading about.

i can match reproductive structures to their descriptions

i already knew everything they taught me in this lesson.
the female releases an egg every month and it is fertilized by sperm.
many sperm try to fertilize the egg but usually only one will succeed.
many die off before they even reach the egg. however, its still
EXTREMELY easy to get pregnant.

I Willl Subtract Binomials and Monomials (Courseware/Exempt)

Today I learnedd that how ever you do multiplying is way different then the subtracting way. To subtract them it is harder because the different varriables and you have to put minus signs in adding signs places and addind in minus places and its harder to figure out what one do you put where. I deff think its way harder.

understanding the goals of an assingment

today i learned bout how to know what you have to do in order to know and understand whatever it is that you read. i learend it is important to write down important inforamtion you get from your text.

I Will Add Binomials and Monomials (Courseware/Exempt)

Today I Learned how to add and put the three together, by three i mean negtive binomials and monomials, postiove binomials and monomials, and all the basic numbers that have a binomial or a monomial. You just have to add the basic numbers put the answer to that and the letter then after that put the exponent on. I Also learned that you dont change the exponet while your doing this. You have to leave it the same no adding it or no subtracting it either.
