today i learned how to visualize what i read to be able to understand the text.

Pre-Test

today i took the pre test for my Geometry class. i answered questions about Postulates and Theorems. i scored a 73%

Today I learn how to make predictions, draw inferences, and connect prior knowledge to support reading
comprehension.
I also learn how to draw conclusions from information gathered also generalizations, and predictions.

I can identify the major eras in world history.

Most of the western world fighting happened in France. Germany, Great Britian and Austria-Hangary were the triple alliance during that time. Their first way of fighting was using poison. Science and technology really pregressed their forms of protection and made their weapons a lot better during that time.

Today i finshed my practice test 8.

What i did today was finshed my practice test. Now im ready to take my real test that i need to take it was easy thise time.

i can find the mean meidain and mode.

Today i learned more about mean meidian and mode, this time i had to try and put them into problems and solve them in different ways.... I also had to do some of them in a five step process way...

Punctuating Quotations

today i took the mastery test for Punctuating Quotations and scored the highest i have on this test. I correctly answered 7 out of 10. giving me a not so great 1 less than needed score

Today i was doing Unit 3 Decimals.

Today i learned about decimals and i took a practice one on decimals. But the practice sheet was that you had to pick the right block of numbwer that they gave you. Like 200 and 99 you had to guess the right blocks for it.

I learned about graphics in documents.

I learned about graphics in documents such as how to make more pages when you print, or how many pages to put on one page befor you print. I also learned how to add a back ground. There arre many ways to make detales in a documeant you can use page lay out and if you want to put it online use web layout. I also learned printing opptions such as how you want it so come out if you want to turn the page and many more things.

Today i took a practice test on earthquakes. Thise is my 4th test that i took today it was easy for me then the other ones.

I can distinguish between examples of mechanical and chemical weathering

There are two types of weathering that affect rocks and the rock cycle. There is mechanical weathering and chemical weathering. Mechanical weathering is when the rocks chemistry structure is not changed but only its apperance has. Chemical weathering is produced when water, animal, or any other living thing affects a rock to change it chemical structure which can or cannot change its appearance.

What i learned today was Wave speed helps determine distance.

     What i   learned today was  that the farther a station is from the spicenter, the longer it takes for waves to reach the station and the farther apart P and S waves become. Large enough earthquakes carry energy from one side of the earth to the other.  There are more than 4000 seismograph stations. Only certain waves reach certain places. S waves only move through solids. All waves change speed in different materials. Earthquakes that occur frequently are generally weaker. Damage depends on Distance from epicenter, geology, and construction, and population. Areas near an earthquake spicenter are generally shaken more, resulting in more damage.

today i learned how to use the right terms of puntuation.

What i learned today was abotut Richter Magnitude.

What i learned today was about Richter Magnitude. The magnitude of the 1960 earthquake in Chile had one magnitude of 9.5. However, it had different intensities depending on the distance from the earthquake's epicenter.

today i took the unit 4 post test. i answered 20 questions over unit 4 Understanding History and scored 60%

solving problems with mean median mode

today i learned alot about mean meidian and mode. witch ones are witch and how to break them down to show me how to to them. mean you havee to add then divied by how many there are. median is middle number.. mode is number that occurs tha most.

i can distinguish between items necessary in chemical equations given

The items that are necessary for a chemical equation is salt, water, and atoms.  And If its h2o than you would write it like h h 0 if you are writing it out. that goes for most of them. and i also took unit two section two mastery test.

Today i learned sbout Stress, Strain, and Storing Energy

What i learned today was about Stress, Strain, and Storing Energy. Objects thatbreak release energy and return to thier original shapes. Rocks store energy in elasttic deformation, then break, releasing energy and rebounding to their original shapes. Breaking rocks produce waves of energy that move out in all directions. These energy waves cause the ground to move in an earthquake.

I learned how to create and format documents.

today i learned how to create and do diffrent things with a document. one thing i learned is how to apply header and footer thin is what ever gose qat the top of the page and the bottom.I also learned how to apply page break this is whare u start a new page. to do this you have to go to ware u want to starrt a new page  and then hit insert then break then ok. very simple there are lots more things about format and documents.
